Gearing Up For Summer Launch, e2e Accelerator Adds Wichita Native As Director

Wayman, charged with recruiting companies and mentors, is immediately making an open call for mentors.

Wichita, Kansas — The e2e Accelerator has added Jacob Wayman as Director of the e2e Accelerator.  Wayman joins CEO John F. Dascher in leading the push to launch the program by Summer 2016.  The e2e Accelerator is one of the key projects coming out of the Entrepreneurship Task Force (ETF) led by the Greater Wichita Partnership.

“Jacob has been a major force in bringing entrepreneurship to the forefront of the community conversation over the past several months,” said e2e CEO John F. Dascher. “Now, he’ll be able to channel his passion and experience to create a lasting positive impact on the community through the successful launch and operation of the e2e Accelerator. This first step in this process is Jacob’s call for mentors.”

Jacob grew up in Wichita and graduated from Wichita State with his B.S. in Health Profile Pic copyServices Management. He earned a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Kansas Medical Center while employed with physicians’ offices and major medical centers before moving into employee benefits consulting. During his time in Kansas City, Jacob found his entrepreneurial passion which led him to launch Startup Rewind, a speaker series similar to 1 Million Cups. Jacob’s focus on growing businesses attracted the attention of Gary Oborny, chairman of e2e and co-chair of the ETF, who tapped Jacob to help bring 1 Million Cups to Wichita.

“Wichita is rich with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to develop the next generation of entrepreneurs here in our community,” says Wayman. “Accelerators, at their core, are driven by the mentors, seasoned entrepreneurs, and industry experts within their communities. As Director, I am seeking professionals who are interested in making a contribution to the entrepreneurial movement led by e2e that is happening right now in Wichita.”

Anyone interested in serving as a mentor or advisor to e2e’s entrepreneurial companies are encouraged to reach out directly to Jacob at or (316) 393-2655. Those interested in becoming mentors, volunteers, sponsors or participants can also sign up online at

The e2e Accelerator is planning to announce its first round of 4-6 participant companies by Summer of 2016. The organization is on track to finalize the details of the Accelerator program, recruitment of mentors and the selection of the first group of companies to participate.
